India completes construction of strategically important bridge over Galwan River
India has completed the construction of a strategically important bridge over the Galwan River in eastern Ladakh, despite a strong opposition to it by the Chinese military. The construction of this bridge is one of the major reasons behind the current border aggression by China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA). India and China are currently indulged in a stand-off along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
