First food park of Central India ‘Avantee’ inaugurated at Dewas

The Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, Harsimrat Kaur Badal inaugurated the Avantee Mega Food Park on Thursday, 5th December 2019.

This is the first food park in central India, constructed at a cost of Rs 150 crore is spread over 51 acres.

The modern food processing park is located at Dewas, about 40 km from Indore is expected to provide five thousand people employment and will benefit the farmers, processors, growers, and consumers of the state of Madhya Pradesh and its adjoining area.

The Minister informed at the inauguration that an additional investment of around Rs 250 crore will be made for setting up 25 to 30 food processing units in the next phases, and once completed the park will have an annual turnover of Rs 500 crore.
