UPSC IAS and IFS Examination 2018

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has come out with the notification for UPSC Civil Services Examination 2018. This is a good news for the candidates aspiring for one of the most prestigious jobs in the country. Eligible candidates must apply by the last date i.e. 6th March 2018. It is to be noted that the applications are now being invited for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination only. Candidates who will be declared successful in the UPSC Civil services preliminary exam will have to apply online again for the Civil Services (Main) Examination.

The preliminary exam is tentatively scheduled to be held on 3rd June 2018 and the Main examination is likely to be held in September 2018. The UPSC Civil Services preliminary exam will be common for both Indian Administrative Services and Indian Forest Services. The applications have to be submitted online only and there is no need to send the hard copy of the application by post. The application fee also has to be submitted using online mode. A candidates must not be less than 21 years and not more than 32 years to be eligible for the UPSC Civil Services examination. Minimum Age: 21 years and Maximum Age: 32 years as on 1st August 2018
To be eligible, a candidates must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 1986 and not later than 1st August 1997.
