SAIL Recruitment 2018 for Operator-cum-Technician and Jr. Manager Posts

Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), a unit of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has invited online applications from qualified candidates for Constable (Telecom) posts in the organisation. The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in written test and/or interview. The total number of vacancies is 205. The candidates have to submit the applications on or before the last date i.e 04th December 2018. Jr. Manager (Safety) (E-1) : 05 Posts
Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) : 170 Posts
Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operator) : 28 Posts

Educational Qualifications

The educational qualification needed for this recruitment are as follows:

Manager (Safety) (E-1) : Candidate should have passed Full time Degree in any branch of Engineering / Technology from Govt. recognized institute and has practical experience of working in a factory for a period not less than 02 years after acquiring Degree in Engineering qualification. (ii) Possess PG Degree or Diploma in Industrial Safety recognized by State Government. (iii) Has adequate knowledge in Odia language.
Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) : Matriculation with 03 years full time Diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline of Mechanical/ Metallurgy/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation from Govt. recognized institute .
Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operator ) : Matriculation with 03 years full time Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical/ Power Plant/ Production/ Instrumentation Engineering from Govt. recognized institute with First Class Boiler Attendant Certificate of Competency.

Age Limit

The age limit for this recruitment are as follows:

Jr. Manager (Safety) (E-1) : 18-30 years.
Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) : 18-28 years.
Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operator) : 18-30 years.

Application Fee

The application fee for this recruitment are as follows:

General/OBC category: Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) for the post of Jr. Manager (Safety) (E-1).
General/OBC category: Rs.250/- (Rupees Two Hundred & Fifty only) for the post of Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) and Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operator) (S-3).
SC/ST/PWD/ESM/Departmental candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee.
