Indian Air Force Recruitment 2019: Airmen Vacancies
The Indian has issued notifications for recruiting eligible unmarried male candidates to the posts of Airmen in Group ‘X’ Trades and Group ‘Y’ trades. Please find detailed information regarding the vacancies below.

How to Apply
Eligible candidates must ensure that they possess the necessary qualifications and fulfil all the required criteria before applying for the posts.
Interested candidates need to apply online by visiting the Official Website. No other mode of application submission would be accepted.
Candidates should have valid a personal E-mail ID and a mobile number. It should be kept active till the recruitment process is fully complete.
Candidates should keep the following ready before registering applications:
- Valid E-mail id
- Scanned copy of latest passport size coloured photograph.
- Scanned signature in digital format
- Class 10th/matriculation passing certificate
- Intermediate/10+2 or equivalent marksheet
- Left thumb impression
- Candidate’s parent’s signature image.

Essential Qualification
Group “X‟ (Except Education Instructor Trade)
(i) Passed Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from an Educational Board listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
(ii) Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering in any stream,
Group “Y‟ {Except Medical Assistant and Musician} Trades.
(i) Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
(ii) Passed two years vocational course from Educational Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English
Group “Y‟ Medical Assistant Trade Only
Passed 10+2/Intermediate/ equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from an Educational Board listed as COBSE member with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English

Candidate born between 19 July 1999 and 01 July 2003 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
Fee
Examination Fee; Rs 250
The fee has to be paid online through credit card/debit card, Net Banking and other such modes available.

Pay Scale
Group “X‟ Trades (Except Education Instructor Trade): Rs.33,100/- per month plus Dearness allowance (as applicable) which, in subsequent years, may rise as per the career progression of the individual.
Group “Y‟ {Except IAF(S) and Musician} Trades: Rs. 26,900/- per month plus Dearness allowance (as applicable) which, in subsequent years, may rise as per the career progression of the individual.
