About Vacancies
- Law Officer (Hindi), Class-II (Gazetted) (on contract basis): 02 UR
- Assistant Controller, Legal Metrology, Weight & Measures, Class-II ( Non-Gazetted) (on contract basis): 05 posts ( U.R.= 03, S.C. of H.P.= 01 & O.B.C. of H.P.= 01)

Essential Qualification
Law Officer (Hindi), Class-II (Gazetted) (on contract basis):
(i) Bachelor’s Degree in Law from any recognized University.
(ii) B.A. with Hindi as one of the main (Elective) subject.
(iii) At least 5 years experience as an Advocate.
Assistant Controller, Legal Metrology, Weight & Measures, Class-II ( Non-Gazetted) (on contract basis):
Should be a Graduate in Science (with Physics as one of the subjects) / /Technology / Engineering from a recognized University.
Selection Procedure
Selection of candidates for all the posts would be made on the basis of the performance of the eligible candidates in the following:
- Screening Test (CBT/Offline)
- Personality Test
Age
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 45 years
Fee
General candidates: Rs 400
S.C. of H.P. /S.T. of H.P. /O.B.C./B.P.L. of H.P. candidates: Rs 100
Ex-Servicemen of HP: Nil
The fee has to be paid online through credit card/debit card, Net Banking and other such modes available.

Law Officer (Hindi), Class-II (Gazetted) (on contract basis): Pay band: Rs.10300-34800+ Rs.4400 Grade Pay. (Emoluments for contract employee(s) Rs. 14,700/- P.M.)
Assistant Controller, Legal Metrology, Weight & Measures, Class-II ( Non-Gazetted) (on contract basis): Pay band: Rs.10300-34800+ Rs.4200 Grade Pay. (Emoluments for contract employee(s) Rs. 14,500/- P.M.)
