Jaduguda

Jaduguda mine is a uranium mine in Jaduguda village in the Singhbhum district of the Indian state of Jharkhand. It was the first uranium mine in India. The mining operations at Jaduguda began in 1967-68, it is also the deepest operating underground mine of the country. It has depth of nearly 3000 feet, one of the deepest in the country.
Note:
Tummalapalle in Andhra Pradesh and Gogi in Karnataka also found to have huge uranium reserves in the country.
