    Sir , Is it correct -similarly ,SBI also a statutory body deriving its legality from SBI Act-1935? Should it be 1955? If correct -please explain it ,I am unable to understand.

      Hello, Its 1955 act not 1935. It was a typo, fixed now.

    Sir, can you please check page 6 last paragrph… Seven subsidiaries of sbi were nationalised by the indira gandhi govt in 1959

      Hello Amitav, yes I checked it and this was also a typo. It has to be read as follows:
      After that, in a major process of nationalization, seven subsidiaries of the State Bank of India were nationalized via the State Bank of India (Subsidiary Banks) Act, 1959.

    Intrest rate of different nationalized banks are diff though they are all controlled by government. Why it is so though they are controlled by same source?also who decide thses rates
