What is Polemology?

The word polemology is derived from the Greek word polemos which refers to battle or war. Polemology is the field of research into the war and it is broader that traditional sense of military science. Polemology considers war and armed conflicts as a social phenomenon that requires a multidisciplinary, complex needs of research.
