What is Ice-cap climate? Where it is found?

The type of climate that is found over the polar ice-caps or Ice Sheets of Antarctica and Greenland that may be considered as cold deserts of snow and ice is known as Ice-cap climate. It is the least known of climatic types, and data are rare.

The mean monthly temperature throughout the year is less than O°C. The mean annual temperature of the interior of the Greenland ice sheet is estimated at-32°C, and that of the Antarctic interior is probably lower.
