What is Climate?

The average weather conditions of a place or region throughout the seasons is known as Climate. It depends on latitude, position relative to oceans and continents, and other local geographical conditions.

Generally, the interiors and the eastern parts of the great continents have a continental climate, with small rainfall, a great range of temperatures, low humidity, both diurnal and seasonal. The oceanic islands and the western parts of continents have a higher humidity, heavier rainfall, and more uniform temperatures.
