What are Dead Pixels?

Dead pixels are pixels on a display screen that do not display any color or light. This can occur due to a manufacturing defect, damage to the screen, or other reasons. Dead pixels are typically noticeable as small dots on the screen that are either black or white, depending on the type of pixel. In some cases, a dead pixel may be fixable by running a pixel fixer program, but in other cases it may be necessary to replace the entire display. Dead pixels can be a frustrating problem, but they are generally not a major concern unless they occur in large numbers or if they interfere with the overall quality of the display.
