The Singapore Diamond Investment Exchange (SDiX), as it is known, aims to create a new marketplace for the global diamond trade. SDiX will be a first-of-its-kind business-to-consumer (B2C) platform for physically settled diamonds. The exchange is capable of handling 500,000 transactions per second. The mobile app will enable these assets to be seen on a map and will be useful for planning by the Panchayats and the government.
