Vigyan Samagam in New Delhi from 21st January

The multi-venue mega science exhibition’s New Delhi edition, Vigyan Samagam will commence on 21st January 2020 at the National Science Centre (NSC) at Pragati Maidan and will run-up to the 20th of March 2020. The first of its kind exhibition was started in collaboration of the Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Atomic Energy in a caravan mode for two months at each of the four venues: Mumbai (8th May to 7th July 2019), Bengaluru (29th July to 28th September), Kolkata (4th November to 31st December 2019) and at New Delhi starting from next Tuesday.
The three previous editions of the exhibition have witnessed enormous response with a cumulative total of 5.5 lakh visitors, out of which approx 3 Lakh visitors were recorded in the edition that ended last month in Kolkata. The objection of the event is to strengthen the participation of the citizens of the country in mega-science projects by highlighting the values and impact of fundamental research to the audiences participating in the exhibition.
