TechSagar: National Repository of India’s cyber tech capabilities

National Cyber Security Coordinator’s office in partnership with Data Security Council of India (DSCI) launched a platform called ‘TechSagar’. It is a platform to discover consolidated and comprehensive repository of India’s cyber technological capabilities through a portal.

About TechSagar

It is a dyanmic platform to discover capabilities of Indian Industry, academia and research across 25 technology areas such as Internet of Things (IoT), Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud & Virtualisation, Blockchain, Robotics & Automation, Wireless & Networking. At present the repository features more than 4,000 entities.

This portal (www.techsagar.in) will list business and research entities from startups, academia, Information Technology (IT) industry, and individual researchers.

It will allow granular navigation, targeted search and drilldown methods using more than 3,000 niche capabilities. It will also be frequently updated with new entities and information to maintain its relevancy and usefulness.

Need: As India aspires to become a trillion dollar digital economy, the tech sagar repository will facilitate as a new opportunities for academia and businesses to connect, innovate and collaborate in future.

NOTE:

The DSCI is a not-for-profit, industry body on data protection in India. It is setup by NASSCOM (National Association of Software and Services Companies), a trade association of Indian IT and Business Process Outsourcing industry.
