Sushma Swaraj held meeting with Maldives President

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has held a joint ministerial meeting with her Maldivian counterpart Abdullah Shahid, where the latter reiterated his Government’s “India-First Policy’. The Government of Maldives assures to remain sensitive towards India’s security and strategic concerns. A joint statement were signed on visa facilitation for diplomatic and official passport holders, development cooperation and renewable energy.
