Scientist Vinod Prakash Sharma honored with Gujar Mal Modi award
Scientist Vinod Prakash Sharma has been honored with the Gujar Mal Modi Award for Innovative Science and Technology 2013 for his achievements in malaria research, control and prevention, including other vector borne diseases.
He is leading the Safe Water Campaign of the NASI (The National Academy of Sciences, India). His work on popularization of science, creating awareness and science education programmes of NASI are widely appreciated in the remote areas as well.
