National Hindi Divas (NHD)
The National Hindi Divas (NHD) is celebrated every year on 14th of September in India. On this day, in 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India had adopted Hindi written in Devanagari as the official language of the country. The Rajbhasha Hindi is spoken by around 40% people across the country & is the single largest spoken language among the 22 languages in the 6th schedule of the constitution.
