Martin Crowe inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame

Former cricket captain of New Zealand Martin Crowe was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame.
He is 79th male member of the Hall of Fame.
Martin Crowe is third cricketer from New Zealand to be inducted in the Hall of Fame after Sir Richard Hadlee and Debbie Hockley.

About Martin Crowe

  • Crowe started his cricket career in February 1982 against Australia in Wellington. His career spanned 13 years and retired in 1996. He also captained New Zealand team in 16 Tests and 44 ODIs.
  • In his career, he played 77 Tests and had scored 5,444 at an average of 45.36.  It included 17 centuries.
  • Crowe also played 143 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and scored 4,704 runs at an average of 38.55. It included four centuries and 34 half-centuries.
