Marathi writer Jyotsna Deodhar passed away
Acclaimed Marathi writer Jyotsna Deodhar (86) passed away. She also worked as an All India Radio (AIR) programme producer, Deodhar authored over 40 books which included novels and short stories that won her critical applaud. Her novels include ‘Ghar Gangechya Kathi’, ‘Udhvasta’, ‘Padzad’. She became famous in Maharashtra with her radio programme in Marathi titled ‘Gruhini’that highlighted women’s issues.
