Lt Gen P.R. Kumar appointed as the New Army DGMO
Lt Gen PR Kumar appointed as Director General Military Operations (DGMO). He took the charge from Lt Gen Vinod Bhatia. Lt Kumar is an aviator and was holding the responsibility of the Directorate General of Army Aviation.
Note: The DGMO is an important office controlling the operations of the Army and is also responsible for immediate resolution of border conflicts with Pakistan and is soon expected to be assigned the same task with China as well.
