Kashmir Festival
“Kashmir festival” is set to be held from May 13, 2013 – May 29, 2013 in Srinagar, Pahalgam, Yousmarg, Manasbal, Doodhpathri, Gulmarg, Lolab Valley and Sonmarg with a financial support from Union Tourism Ministry.
Objective: To promote tourism in the state.
Activities Initiated for festival
- Cultural performances will be part of festival perform by groups of the state to reflect real Kashmir.
- Shikara Races, Cycle Races, Canoeing, River Rafting, Para Gliding, Painting, Swimming Competition, Horse Races.
- 20-30% discount is offered on tour packages by hotels and guest houses.
