IPL 7 (2014) to be held in UAE, Bangladesh & India
The India Premier League (IPL) 2014 season 7 will be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bangladesh and India. Due to 16th Lok Sabha elections in India, the IPL tournament partly shifted out of the country and will return to India for the final phase of matches.
2014 Pepsi IPL season 7
- Start on April 16, 2014 and conclude on June 1, 2014.
- Begin in the UAE, move to Bangladesh and finally come to India for the final set of matches.
- The initial phase of the tournament would be played out at three venues in the UAE — Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah from April 16 to 30.
- The second half has been tentatively kept in Bangladesh but could be held in India if the BCCI manages to get the government’s clearance.
