Industrialist RP Goenka Passed away

The pioneer of the RPG Enterprises, Shri R.P. Goenka (Rama Prasad Goenka) passed away. He established RPG Enterprises in the year 1979. It included Phillips Carbon Black, Asian Cables, Agarpara Jute Mill and Murphy India, CESC, CEAT, Spencer’s, Saregama, etc.
He was known as India’s “Takeover Specialist” as he his mark in diverse businesses, ranging from tyre to music.
R.P. Goenka was the Chairman Emeritus of the RPG Group (having a combined turnover of about Rs 30,000 Crore) which is a multi-sector Indian industrial conglomerate comprising of over 15 companies in the areas of infrastructure, tyres, technology, and speciality.
