Indian Army decides to conduct exercise codenamed ‘Sindhu Sudarshan’

The Indian Army has decided to conduct exercise codenamed ‘Sindhu Sudarshan’ in the deserts of Rajasthan from Nov 29 to Dec 4. The purpose of the exercise is to evaluate the capability of the defence services to strike deep into enemy territory in an integrated air-land battle. Over 40,000 troops will participate in an all-arms battle array of Divisions and Brigades carrying out offensive operations in deserts.
