India, Mozambique inked pact on Bilateral Security Cooperation

With the objective to discuss cooperation and enhance relationship in various fields for mutual benefits, India and Mozambique signed an agreement on Bilateral Security Cooperation.

According to estimates around 25,000 people of Indian origin are living in Mozambique for generations. The relations b/w both the countries have been warm and affable. When Mozambique achieved independence in  the year 1975, India was amongst the first countries to extend recognition to the country.
