Facebook unveils Application Center in India and six other countries
Facebook unveiled its application centre -App Center — in India and 6 other countries.
Objective: This step will assist users to search games, music services and media content easily.
The App Center is now accessible to everyone in the US, Australia, Canada, India, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and the UK. Facebook will also be launching App Center to users in Brazil, France, Germany, Russia, Spain, Taiwan, and Turkey very soon. It plans to expand its user base users, with 80 % residing outside the US and Canada. It has over 900 million monthly active users across the globe.
App Center icon displayed on the left side of the home page on Facebook.com recommends apps to users based on their interests.
