EDMC clears proposal to develop Tele-Booking Services of the Auto-Rickshaws
Standing Committee of East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) has cleared the proposal to set up Green Auto tele-booking services of the auto-rickshaws on the lines of radio taxis.
The main objective of the project is to provide 24-hour auto rickshaw facility at the door-steps of the residents of East Delhi at Government notified meter based price. The facility will be controlled and managed through a centralized call-centre. The call-centre would be responsible for forwarding the calls directly to the auto drivers.
