CJI inaugurates fast track court to try sexual offences in Delhi
Chief Justice of India Altamas Kabir inaugurated first of the four fast track courts in Saket, Delhi to hear cases of sexual offence cases against women. Other fast track courts would start operating from January 3, 2013 at Rohini, Tis Hazari and Dwarka in New Delhi. The Delhi bus rape case would be the first rape case to be heard in the fast-track court where hearing will take place on daily trial basis.
