Ameet Shah appointed to US Dept committee on renewable energy
The Co-Chairman of Astonfield Renewable Resources Ltd, Ameet Shah, has been appointed to the US Department of Commerce’s Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee (RE&EEAC).
Shah will represent project developers in the renewable energy sector. He will advice the Department’s top official on competitiveness issues facing the US renewable energy and energy efficiency exports, and help provide consensus advice on the development and administration of programmes and policies.
Astonfield’s 12.3 MW solar photovoltaic plant in Nayaka of Patan district of Gujarat, was sanctioned under the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA).
