Actor Urmila Matondkar joins Congress

Bollywood actor Urmila Matondkar has officially joined the Congress after meeting party chief Rahul Gandhi in Delhi and became its newest leader. The Congress has fielded Urmila from Mumbai North Lok Sabha constituency 2 days after she joined the party and she will further take on the BJP’s Gopal Shetty from the Mumbai North constituency, which is being seen as a tough battle for the Congress. She has joined the Congress party as the freedom to express was under attack in the country.
