11 Airports from Jammu and Kashmir and 2 from Ladakh under UDAN 4.0

The Ministry of Civil Aviation on 3rd December 2019, has announced the commencement of the bidding process under UDAN 4.0. 11 unreserved airports from Jammu and Kashmir and 2 unreserved airports from the Ladakh region are put on for offering bids.
From Ladakh, Kargil and Thoise and from Jammu and Kashmir- Akhnur, Chamb, Fukche, Gurex, Miran Sahib, Chushal, Jhangar, Panzgam, Poonch, Udhampur and Rajouri are the unreserved airports put for bidding under the 4th round of UDAN.
The 4th round of UDAN will focus on the North Eastern States, Islands of Andaman and Nicobar and Lakshadweep, and newly formed union territories of Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir.
UDAN(Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik) 4.0 was announced by the Ministry of Civil Aviation on 2nd December 2019.
