Border Security Force (BSF) has issued notifications for recruiting eligible candidates to the posts of Head Constable (Radio Operator) and Head Constable (Radio-Mechanic) in Group-C on a temporary basis. Essential Qualification

HC (RO)

Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board and two years Industrial Training Institute Certificate (ITI) in Radio and Television or, Electronics or, computer operator & Programming Assistant or, Data Preparation & Computer Software or, General Electronics or, Data Entry Operator from a recognized Institute.

Or,

Pass in Intermediate or 12th standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or University or Institution as a regular student with aggregate 60% marks in PCM subject.

HC (RM)

Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board and two years Industrial Training Institute Certificate (ITI) in Radio ‘and Television or, General Electronics or, computer operator & Programming Assistant or, Data Preparation & Computer Software or, Electrician or, Fitter or, Info Technology & Electronics System maintenance or, Comn Equipment Maintenance or, Computer Hardware or, Network Technician or, Mechatronics or, Data Entry Operator from a recognized Institute.

Or,

Pass in Intermediate or 12th standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or University or Institution as a regular student with aggregate 60% marks in PCM subject.

Selection Procedure

Selection of candidates for all the posts would be made on the basis of the performance of the eligible candidates in the following:

  • First Phase: OMR based screening test: 28.07.2019
  • Second Phase: (i) PST, PET & Documentation: 09.10.2019 (ii) Descriptive Written Test: 24.11.2019.
  • Third Phase: Final medical examination (30.01.2020)

Upper Age limit is relaxable by:

3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer).

Head Constable (Radio Operator): Level – 4 in the Pay Matrix

Head Constable (Radio Mechanic): Rs. 25,500 – 81,100 (as per 7th CPC).

Medical Standards
