What has been held in the case of Mohan Pandey v. Usha Rani Rajgaria under Article 226 of the Indian Constitution?

In the case of Mohan Pandey v. Usha Rani Rajgaria, it has been held that the extraordinary jurisdiction of the high court under Article 226 cannot be exercised for deciding disputes between private parties relating to property   rights, unless there is violation of some statutory duty on the statutory authority alleged. A regular suit is the appropriate remedy for settlement of disputes between private persons. The high court cannot allow the constitutional jurisdiction to be used for deciding disputes, for which remedies under the general law, civil or criminal are available.
