The 11th World Firefighters Games 2010 were held in DAEGU in South Korea. India's Ms Meenakshi Vijayakumar, Divisional Officer of Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Services has won a Gold Medal. This was the first time that an Indian won a gold medal in the Games for fire fighters.
