Planning Commission approved the Annual Plan Size 2012-13 for Arunachal Pradesh at Rs. 3,535 crores. The plan has seen a 20.1%, increase over last year’s revised outlay of Rs. 2942.6 crores. The state was highly praised by Planning Commission for its outstanding performance in third party monitoring and agriculture and horticulture sectors. The Commission looked immensely satisfied with the performance of PM Package Projects in the State. The increment in the Annual Plan Size has been made possible as the State has registered an average annual growth rate of 10.8% during the first 4 years of the 11th five Year Plan compared to the national average growth rate of 8.15%.
