The Buckingham Canal is a 796 kilometres long fresh water navigation canal, running parallel to the Coromandel Coast. It connects Kakinada of Andhra Pradesh to Villupuram District in Tamil Nadu. The Munak Canal is a 102 kilometre long aqueduct that is part of Western Yamuna Canal in Haryana and Delhi states in India. The Indira Gandhi Canal starts from the Harike Barrage at Firozpur below the confluence of the Satlej and Beas rivers in the Indian state of Punjab and terminates in irrigation facilities in the Thar Desert in the north west of Rajasthan state.
