Which of the following types of forests are best sources of hard wood?

Answer: [A] Evergreen Forests of Equatorial regions

The best sources are evergreen forests of equatorial regions as well as deciduous forests of Monsoon lands. Mahogany, Gutta Parcha, ebony are some of examples. Besides the temperate forests within the limits of 30 degree to 50 degree are also nice sources of hardwoods , however not as good as equatorial regions. Oak , Ash and beech are found in such forests.
