In which river Nilgiri Mystus is found?

Nilgiri Mystus is a critically endangered fish species of India (IUCN Red List) found in Cauvery River and its tributary. It is also found in Western Ghats and was recently making news in context with the 132 Indian species declared endangered by IUCN. Its scientific name is Hemibagrus punctatus. This fish inhabits rapid rivers and streams and is also known to occur in midland areas with slow to moderate flow, poor vegetation cover, and with mud, sand and gravel as the major substrates .It prefers pristine, clear water streams and is affected by siltation.
