Shashi Shekar, secretary ministry of water resource is the chairman of the committee set up to monitor Yamuna Clean-up project. The committee was formed by the NGT to monitor Rs 4,000-crore Yamuna clean-up project. The committee in its report submitted to the NGT has recommended ensuring fresh water flow in the river.
