According to a research published by World Economic Forum, the US department of defence is the world’s biggest employer which claims over 3.2 million employees. Second is People’s Liberation Army (Chinese army) with 2.3 million, and third is supermarket giant Walmart with 2.1 million workers. Indian Railways ranked at the eighth place with 1.4 million staff followed by Indian Armed Forces with 1.3 million people.
