Moutatthu Gopalakrishnan is an Indian film director, script writer, and producer. He had a major role in revolutionizing Malayalam cinema and is regarded as one of the finest filmmakers of India. He was honoured the Bishwaratna Dr Bhupen Hazarika International Solidarity Award by Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi.
